Recycle your old credit cards into jewelry!

creditcardbracelet.jpg

We all know the first step to becoming debt-free is to slice and dice your credit cards.  But don’t just throw them away — turn them into fashionable, super-thrifty jewelry!  This bracelet is extremely easy to make, and unexpectedly stunning!  (And with some of the brightly-patterned cards I have seen around, it could be quite an eye-popping piece!!)

BUT — be sure to only cut out and use the parts with numbers, so that if you lose your bracelet, no one can mess up your credit score or steal your identity!!!

I found this project posted at Dollar Store Crafts (the mecca of thrifty crafting).   The complete tutorial can be found at the Scavenging Blog !
